Aubrey graduated with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with a minor in Health Sciences from Chapman University. As a member of Chapman’s food protection lab, she studied the optimization of DNA extraction methods for the detection of canned tuna species under Dr. Rosalee Hellberg. Aubrey joined UCLA’s BMSB cohort in the Fall of 2023 and is currently rotating in the Lawson lab where she is investigating translation termination.
